Inoshishi

INOSHISHI is an American new Apparel Brand created in Orange County, California under the 2020 lockdown. Its former name was Beastie-Skateboarding, then changed to Inoshishi.

INOSHISHI is a beast (wild boar), a totem animal in different mythologies that symbolizes strength and value. It’s an animal spirit that gods and heroes call upon or invoke providing sage tips and premonitions. An animal spirit that you call for its special power and survival skills to serve as guidance and protection when facing adversity. INOSHISHI is a symbol of success and overcoming difficulties. It has come to symbolize courage, ferocity and recklessness.

Despite being a symbol of strength and value, the INOSHISHI tend to avoid humans and can be quite formidable when cornered. The fact that humans have been hunting them for thousands of years also adds a layer of complexity to their story, highlighting the delicate balance between humans and the natural world.
